Abstract

The invention discloses application of NET49 protein as a diabetes biomarker and a treatment target point. It is found out by researchers that the expression quantity of the NET49 protein is related to the diabetes and the NET49 protein can inhibit generation of inflammatory factors. The expression of NET49 is regulated and controlled by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and palmitic acid (PA); macrophage NET49 specific knockout mice can generate obesity, insulin resistance and other symptoms of 2-type diabetes after being induced by high-fat diet. The application of the NET49 protein as the diabetes biomarker and the treatment target point provides a new target point for researching novel medicine for treating the diabetes.
