Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid quantum dot LED and a preparation method thereof. The liquid quantum dot LED uses a liquid quantum dot as a light emitting layer which has a better quantum yield and higher brightness and luminous efficiency compared with a solid-state quantum dot light emitting layer. The preparation method of the liquid quantum dot LED comprises the steps that according to the photoluminescence excitation requirement of the liquid quantum dot, a light emitting chip of appropriate wavelength is selected as an excitation light source; the prepared liquid quantum dot is injected into the light emitting layer through hydraulic injecting; and finally the liquid quantum dot LED is prepared through combination installation. The LED prepared through the method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple LED structure, easy preparation process and low material loss.
