The multi-component copolymerization ferric chloride hexahydrate water purification agent comprises trace polymerization ferric chloride hexahydrate and polymerization starch according to a weight ratio of 1:1, wherein 25-40% by weight of iron powder containing more than or equal to 90% of ferric, 7-20% by weight of water, 1-18% by weight of sodium hydroxide, 50-70% by weight of hydrochloric acid, 5-8% by weight of sodium chlorate, and 2-20% by weight of sodium fluoride are prepared into the trace polymerization ferric chloride hexahydrate, and 20-76% by weight of water, 20-40% by weight of sodium hydroxide, 3-10% by weight of plant starch, 0.3-10% by weight of sodium dihydrogen phosphate or disodium hydrogen phosphate, 4-40% by weight of urea, and 0.1-1% by weight of aluminum hydroxide are prepared into the polymerization starch.
