Abstract

Solventborne brushable coating compositions having improved sag resistance and methods of using the same are provided. The composition comprises: a crosslinkable component comprising one or more polymers having two or more crosslinkable groups; a crosslinking component comprising one or more polymers having crosslinking agent for crosslinking groups; and sag control agent for polyurea-in-oil drying. When a layer of pot mix obtained by mixing crosslinkable and crosslinking components is brushed on a substrate, it exhibits high sag resistance, low brushing resistance, even under ambient conditions, while providing the desired Excellent coating properties such as high gloss and fast curing.
