The plant rooting liquid is prepared from, by weight, 1-3 parts of an ABT rooting agent, 5-15 parts of glycine, 6-10 parts of leucine, 4-6 parts of lysine, 5-7 parts of phenylalanine, 12-14 parts of proline, 8-12 parts of aspartic acid, 1-3 parts of naphthaleneacetic acid, 0.8-1.2 parts of indolebutyric acid, 35-45 parts of white sugar, 15-25 parts of ethanol, 160-180 parts of water and 7-9 parts of monopotassium phosphate and zinc sulfate, with the weight ratio of the monopotassium phosphate to the zinc sulfate being 6-8:1. The rooting liquid can promote plant rooting, and can significantly increase the cottage survival rate when the plant rooting liquid is used for soaking plant branches difficult in rooting. The effect may be related to the weight ratio of the monopotassium phosphate to the zinc sulfate in raw materials.
