The ammonia gas generation device for the solid ammonium SCR system comprises a first heating part and a second heating part, wherein the second heating part and the first heating part form a closed reaction cavity; and both the first heating part and the second heating part adopt a water bath heating mode. The heater device of the ammonia gas generation system mainly aims at an engine pedestal test, and ammonium salt in the ammonia gas generator is heated by choosing an engine water bath heating mode so as to facilitate rapid building of ammonia gas pressure and simplify the system structure. In particular, heating is conducted by utilizing circulating water of the engine and no external energy source is introduced in the test process, so that the energy source is saved and the test design accords with the actual requirement. A cast aluminum heater, namely a heating pipe cast in a casing, is selected to enable the temperature to be distributed more uniformly.
