The invention provides a method and a filtering device for removing AIDS viruses. The filtering device comprises a filter and a pipeline suite which communicates with the filter; the filter at least comprises a box body and a filtering membrane; the box body comprises a cover body and a main body; a plasma inlet and an exhaust port are formed in the top of the cover body; a plasma outlet is formed in the bottom of the main body; the filtering membrane is either VR03 or VR05 in VR series filtering membranes produced by American 3M Company or the filtering membrane is formed by superposing the VR03 and the VR05; the pipeline suite comprises a liquid inlet pipe, a blood separator and a blood outlet pipe; by virtue of the liquid inlet pipe, blood is introduced into the filtering device; the blood separator communicates with the liquid inlet pipe and is used for separating blood which is conveyed by virtue of the liquid inlet pipe into plasma and blood cells; the blood separator and the filter communicate; the filter is used for filtering the plasma and is used for outputting the filtered plasma; and a dropping liquid cavity communicates with the blood separator and the filter, and the dropping liquid cavity is used for receiving the blood cells which are conveyed by virtue of the blood separator and the filtered plasma which is conveyed by virtue of the filter and for outputting a mixture by virtue of the liquid outlet pipe.
