Abstract

The invention discloses modified kaolin. A preparation method of the modified kaolin comprises the following steps: (S1) mixing materials: roasting kaolin at a high temperature and cooling to obtain roasted kaolin; adding the roasted kaolin, additional aluminum source, additional zinc source and acid into a container, and stirring uniformly to obtain a mixture; and performing ultrasonic oscillating treatment on the mixture for 20-30min at a frequency of 30-40kHz; (S2) filtering the mixture prepared in step (S1), and washing the product with deionized water to obtain a mixture slurry; and (S3) performing a high-temperature heating reaction on the mixture slurry obtained in step (S2) in a closed container, wherein the heating temperature is 120-165 DEG C, and the constant-temperature reaction lasts for 1-2 hours. The preparation method of modified kaolin disclosed by the invention is performed in a closed condition, thus the reaction of the aluminum source, zinc source and acid in the substances such as kaolin is more complete, the consumption of inorganic acid is minimized, and other properties are correspondingly improved.
