Abstract

The invention provides a soybean urease activity detecting tube which comprises a urea cresol red sodium salt extracting fluid tube, a sample quantifying tube and a bottle cap which are sequentially connected. The detecting tube has simple structure and stable sampling quality and avoids large fluctuation. The invention further provides a method for detecting soybean urease activity. The method comprises the steps of adding a soybean meal sample into the sample quantifying tube, connecting the sample quantifying tube with the top of the urea cresol red sodium salt extracting fluid tube, shocking, recording color change time and calculating a soybean urease activity value of the soybean meal sample according to a corresponding fitted equation. The detecting method has simple steps, short consumed time in a detecting process and not high requirements for skilled degree of operators and equipment; furthermore, detecting results are identical with detection results of a national-standard method.
