Abstract

The invention discloses an ion wind forced convection fin applied to heat dissipation of an electronic device. The ion wind forced convection fin comprises a heat dissipation fin body, a notch formed in the heat dissipation fin and used for installing an ion wind generation device, and a banana socket fixed on a fin base plate, wherein the ion wind generation device comprises an upper support, a lower support on which a banana plug is installed, a hollow needle plate electrode arranged in the upper and lower supports and a mesh plate electrode opposite to a needle on the needle plate electrode. According to the fin provided by the invention, air is efficiently ionized via the icon wind generation device, so that ions and free electron are adsorbed on surfaces of dust particles during a motion process, and thus the particles are electrified and adsorbed on the mesh electrode, and meanwhile the generation ion wind is used for improving air velocity from bottom up and reinforce heat convection.
