Abstract

The invention discloses a method for prolonging the service life of a solid lubricating bearing assembly. The method is utilized in design of long-service life solid lubricating bearing assemblies. The method is characterized by comprising the steps that 1) a bearing inner ring, a bearing outer ring and bearing steel balls are plated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) based self-lubricating solid films through sputtering; 2) pretightening force of the bearing is as small as possible under the precondition that axis rigidity is guaranteed; 3) a shaft, a bearing seat, the bearing inner ring, the bearing outer ring and the bearing steel balls are manufactured through the same material, and the difference of coefficients of linear expansion is smaller than (1 * 10<-7>) / K; 4) the bearing inner ring and the shaft are in small interference fit; 5) the bearing outer ring and the bearing seat are in small clearance fit; and 6) an inner side seal ring and an outer side seal ring are separately mounted on the two sides of a solid lubricating bearing. According to the method, the long service life problem of the solid lubricating bearing assembly is solved, the actual service life measurement time exceeds 62 million, and the method has relatively high reliability.
