Abstract

Laser emitted by a laser device is split into two beams of parallel light with the equal intensity and equal optical path length by abeam splitter prism; the two beams of parallel light enters a first semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror and a second semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror respectively; the two beams of parallel light transmitted from the first semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror and the second semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror enter two symmetric optical paths of a dual-beam differential system;and the two beams of parallel light reflected by the first semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror and the second semi-transparent semi-reflective mirror enter optical paths of two symmetric one-dimensional reference light subsystems respectively. The dual-beam differential system outputs a Doppler signal S3 with the Doppler frequency fD; the two one-dimensional reference light subsystems output aDoppler signal S1 with the Doppler frequency fD1 and a Doppler signal S2 with the Doppler frequency fD2; and with the signals S1, S2, and S3, calculation of the current driving speed of the vehicle is completed. According to the invention, the vehicle-mounted laser Doppler tachymeter can adapt to bumping of a vehicle on an uneven road and the whole system is installed at a vehicle type carrier toprovide a precise speed parameter for the vehicle in real time.
