Abstract

An ammonia-removing coated piezoelectric material synthesized from tourmaline powder and a preparation method thereof are disclosed, wherein a material of an external coating piezoelectric shell comprises the tourmaline powder and clay in the mass ratio of (3-5) : 1, and an inner core is the clay; the preparation steps are as follows: taking the tourmaline powder and a clay raw material to purifyand remove large pieces of impurities, taking the purified tourmaline powder and clay raw material in which the large pieces of impurities are removed into a beaker in the mass ratio of (3-5) : 1, adding deionized water, stirring and mixing evenly for standby use; slowly adding the deionized water to the clay, molding the clay into the spherical clay inner core with a diameter of 2-3mm, quickly coating the surface of spherical clay inner core with the material of the external coating piezoelectric shell with a thickness of 1 to 2 mm to form a ball, immediately using a 0.5-mm-diameter needle for penetrating the ball from the center, naturally drying the prepared ball in air for 1 to 2 hours, dehydrating for forming, placing the formed ball into a tin foil with an upper opening, sending thetin foil to a muffle furnace and sintering at 560 DEG C for 4 hours to obtain the finished CPM (coated piezoelectric material). The finished CPM can achieve ammonia removal with no energy consumptionand secondary pollution.
