The method comprises: firstly, obtaining the diameter and plate thickness of a skin flange structure which needswelding, to obtain welding process parameters and motion control parameters of a control system, then, mounting the to-be-welded skin flange structure in a gantry type operation frame through a tool,the control system controlling two welding guns in a double dedicated welding head to perform pilot run of a track according to the motion control parameters, after track offset of the to-be-welded skin flange structure is obtained, correcting an assembling position of the skin flange structure in the gantry type operation frame, finally, the control system controlling the two welding guns in thedouble dedicated welding head to move according to the motion control, and controlling two symmetric welding guns to start arc to weld skin flange circumferential welds according to the welding process parameters, in a welding process, observing a skin flange circumferential weld pool and weld alignment conditions, and adjusting welding tracks of the welding guns in real time.
