Problems solved by technology

[0003] Through shading treatment, predecessors have studied the effects of maize growth and development, morphogenesis, yield, quality, physiological and biochemical aspects under low light stress, and have also preliminarily screened the negative tolerance indicators of maize varieties. There is no report on the research of materials in damp environment

Embodiment 1

[0023] Example 1: Screening of shade-tolerant maize inbred lines

[0024] Experimental materials: Yu 561, Yu 8954, Yu 676, Yu 1193-9 bred by Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences and introduced inbred lines PH4CV, 18-599, 4011, and Ye 478.

[0025] Experimental design: The experiment was arranged in Huangtian Experimental Base of Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences, with flat terrain and medium soil fertility.

[0026] Adopt 2 factor split-plot designs, the strain is the main plot, and the light is the sub-plot, and low light stress (90% shading rate) is set (see figure 1 ) and normal lighting (see figure 2 ) 2 treatments, 3 repetitions, single-row area, single-seed seedling transplanting, single-plant planting, density 67500 plants / hm 2 . Begin to shade with a sunshade net with a shading rate of 90% at the 5-6 leaf stage for 3 months.

[0027] Measuring items and methods: In the yellow ripening period, the incidence of stem rot disease was investigated, and t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a screening method of shade tolerant corn inbred lines. The method includes planting to-be-screened corn materials in March-August, the planting density being 67500 plants / hm<2>; adopting a two-factor split plot design, lines being a main plot and light being a subplot; arranging two treatments which are low-light stress with 90% of shading rates and normal lighting, threetimes of repetition, and single line areas, the line length being 4 m and linewidth being 0.8 m; adopting single seed seedling raising, 2-leaf 1-heart stage transplanting, and single plant planting; performing limit shading by using a sunshade net with 90% of the shading rates at 5-6 leaf stage for 3 months; investigating the incidence of stem rot during the yellow ripening period; performing datastatistics and analysis by applying DPS statistics software; and screening the shade tolerant corn inbred lines according to incidence of plants. The method is more direct to screen the shade tolerant corn materials according to the occurrence of the stem rot; the method is simple in recording and small in error; and the method is simple, fast and accurate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to plant breeding, in particular to a screening method for shade-tolerant maize inbred lines. Background technique [0002] Southwest my country is dominated by hills and mountains, with many clouds and fog, little sunshine, high humidity, and long-term rainy and weak light weather processes all year round. Under cloudy and weak light conditions, the light intensity is insufficient, the photosynthetic system cannot operate normally, the soil and air are in a state of saturated humidity for a long time, the growth and development of the plants are poor, and when it encounters continuous rain during the flowering period, the pollination and fertilization process is hindered, and the seed setting rate is reduced. Poor grouting, increased pests and diseases. The planting method in Southwest China is mainly dry land, and the special climatic conditions and farming system are important factors restricting the production of maize. To c...
