specific Embodiment approach 1

[0029] Specific embodiment one: In this embodiment, a method for adjusting the pH of the sugar solution to prepare carbon coating on the surface of carbon fiber is carried out according to the following steps:

[0030] 1. Carbon fiber degumming:

[0031] Put the carbon fiber braided body into a vacuum furnace and raise the temperature to 300-1000°C under vacuum conditions, keep it warm for 1-3 hours, and then naturally cool to room temperature to obtain degummed carbon fibers;

[0032] 2. Carbon fiber surface acid treatment:

[0033] Add the degummed carbon fiber prepared in step 1 into concentrated nitric acid, put it into an oil bath heated to 80-120°C, react for 2-6 hours, then wash it with water until neutral, and dry it in vacuum to obtain acidified carbon fiber;

[0034] 3. Preparation of impregnating solution:

[0035] adding sugar to deionized water and stirring evenly to obtain a sugar solution, and adjusting the pH to 0-7 by acid titration to obtain an impregnating...

specific Embodiment approach 2

[0040] Embodiment 2: This embodiment differs from Embodiment 1 in that: the temperature is raised to 500° C. under vacuum conditions and kept for 1 hour. Others are the same as in the first embodiment.

specific Embodiment approach 3

[0041] Specific embodiment three: the difference between this embodiment and specific embodiment one or two is: the mass concentration of concentrated nitric acid in step two is 68%. Others are the same as in the first or second embodiment.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a carbon fiber surface carbon coating by adjusting a sugar solution pH, and relates to the field of the carbon fiber modification. The method is capableof solving problems in a current method that the cost of a carbon fiber surface coating is high and a thickness is difficult to control. The method comprises the following steps: one, degumming carbonfibers; two, performing surface acidizing treatment on the carbon fibers; three, preparing dipping solution; four, dipping the carbon fibers by sugar solution; and five, preparing the carbon fiber surface carbon coating through a hydrothermal reaction. The method is capable of using sugar with low cost as a carbon source for preparing the carbon fiber surface carbon coating. The carbon coating has the characteristics of controllable thickness, uniformity and compactness, and can be applied to the fields of ceramic composite material preparation, carbon-carbon composite material and carbon fiber enhanced resin matrix composite material preparation and the like. The method is used for preparing the carbon fiber surface carbon coating.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of carbon fiber modification, in particular to a method for preparing a carbon coating on the surface of a carbon fiber by using sugar as a raw material in combination with a hydrothermal reaction method, especially a method for converting sugar carbon into carbon by adjusting the pH of a sugar solution. Background technique [0002] The use of continuous fibers to toughen ceramics can fundamentally solve the problem of intrinsic brittleness of materials, and the composite materials prepared by it are one of the most promising materials in the field of aerospace. Coating a layer of carbon coating on the surface of carbon fiber can realize the weak interfacial bonding between fiber and ceramic on the one hand. Pull-out, bridging, and crack deflection create conditions, which can consume the work done by external forces, thereby delaying the destruction of the material. On the other hand, the carbon coating on the surfa...
