The color filtering substrate comprises a substrate, a pixeldefining layer and a plurality of filtering patterns, wherein a plurality of openings are formed in positions, corresponding to a plurality of sub-pixel regions, on the pixel defining layer, the plurality of filtering patterns are arranged in the plurality of openings of the pixel defining layer and on the substrate, each filtering patter comprises a quantum-dot layer and a filtering layer which are sequentially arranged on the substrate. Only a photoetching process in one time is needed to fabricate the openings during fabrication of the color filtering substrate, the quantum-dot layers and the filtering layers of the filtering patterns both can be fabricated in the openings by a mode of forming a film form a solution, the process is effectively simplified, and the production efficiency is improved; and moreover, when the color filtering substrate is applied to the WOLED display, the light-emitting efficiency and the color gamut of the WOLED display can be effectively improved, and the product quality is improved.
