Abstract

The invention firstly discloses a metamaterial with a dual function of sound insulation and microwave stealth. An upper conductive film layer (1) is located above a middle skeleton layer (2) and is periodically arranged; a lower conductive film reflecting layer (3) is located below the middle skeleton layer (2); the upper conductive film layer (1) and the lower conductive film reflecting layer (3)respectively deposit in surfaces of an upper PET film (4) and a lower PET film (5); the upper PET film (4) supports the upper conductive film layer (1); the upper conductive film layer (1) has a ringstructure; the middle skeleton layer (2) adopts a symmetric or asymmetric structural unit; and a ring structure period of the upper conductive film layer (1) is the same as or different from a periodof the middle skeleton layer. The metamaterial achieves sound transmission loss more than 10 dB in a frequency band of 1050 Hz-1350 Hz, and has a high application prospect in effective suppression ofa backward radar cross section (backward RCS reduces by more than 10 dB) in the frequency band of 7.1 GHz-18.0 GHz.
