Abstract

The invention discloses application of DGCR8 in preparing products for treating and / or preventing osteoarthritis of animals. It shows that the DGCR8 has the following functions of treating and / or preventing the osteoarthritis of the animals, treating and / or preventing osteoarthritis induced by anterior cruciate ligament transaction of the animals, delaying senescence of mesenchymal stem cells, delaying replicative senescence of the mesenchymal stem cells, and delaying pathological senescence of the mesenchymal stem cells. Experiments show that the DGCR8 has the clear function of delaying senescence of the mesenchymal stem cells and has the clear treatment effect in osteoarthritis diseases, thus a new thought is provided for development of gene therapy for osteoarthritis, and the selectingrange of clinical gene therapy is expanded.
