Abstract

The invention discloses an MPPT online control system based on new open-circuit voltage method, which includes a thermoelectric generating set, a thermocouple set and an MPPT converter. The thermoelectric generating set consists of several thermoelectric generating plates and strong magnets, suitable for converting heat energy in exhaust gasses into electric energy. The thermocouple set consists of a thermocouple detecting plate and a thermocouple card slot, suitable for measuring the temperature between thermoelectric generating plates and transmitting the temperature signal to the MPPT converter. The MPPT converter consists of a ring antenna, a Freescale MC9S12XS128 MCU and a boost inverter, and its two terminals are connected with the temperature difference generator and the load respectively thus to output the voltage generated by the temperature difference generator to the load with the maximum power. The invention can effectively solve the problem of fixing the thermocouple whenmeasuring the temperature difference of thermoelectric generating plates, and further overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional open circuit voltage method, such as periodic circuit disconnection,complex algorithm and large power loss.
