Abstract

The invention discloses a catalyst and its application, especially a catalyst for catalyzing CO 2 Catalyst for the synthesis of cyclic carbonates. Catalyst of the present invention is the Fe of stacked pore structure 4 Ⅲ (Fe(CN) 6 ) 3 , or KM 4 (Fe Ⅲ (CN) 6 ) 3 , wherein M is Co or Ni or Zn. The catalyst of the present invention can synthesize the reaction substrate of the epoxide into a cyclic carbonate under normal pressure and solvent-free conditions.
