[0031] The present invention has no special requirements for the preparation method of the substrate for landscaping of the ecological tank, and the above-mentioned diatomite, calcium hydroxide, fly ash, wood fiber and activated carbon can be mixed directly. The present invention has no specific requirements on the mixing method, as long as each raw material can be uniformly mixed using a mixing method well known in the art.

[0032] The invention provides the application of the above-mentioned substrate for landscaping of ecological tanks in landscaping of ecological tanks. In the present invention, the method of said application is preferably:

[0033] Mixing the substrate for landscaping of the ecological tank with water to obtain mud;

[0034] The slurry is sprayed onto the surface of the molding material.

Embodiment 1

[0039] Mix 20 parts of diatomaceous earth, 10 parts of calcium hydroxide, 28 parts of fly ash, 12 parts of wood fiber and 10 parts of activated carbon to obtain a substrate for landscaping in an ecological tank. The pH value of the component matrix was determined to be about 7.5.

[0040] Mix the obtained eco-tank landscaping substrate with water at a mass ratio of 1:1.5 to obtain mud, which is then sprayed onto the surface of the plastic material. After testing, the obtained substrate for ecological tank landscaping can keep for 150 days without falling off, and the substrate is slightly alkaline, which is suitable for the cultivation of limestone ecological plants, such as chicory moss and the like.

Embodiment 2

[0042] 25 parts of diatomite, 5 parts of calcium hydroxide, 20 parts of fly ash, 15 parts of wood fiber and 15 parts of activated carbon are mixed to obtain a substrate for landscaping in an ecological tank. The pH value of the component matrix was determined to be about 6.2.

[0043] Mix the obtained substrate for landscaping of the ecological tank with water at a mass ratio of 1:1.7 to obtain mud, and spray it on the surface of the plastic material. After testing, the obtained landscaping substrate for the ecological tank can last for 150 days without falling off, and the substrate is slightly acidic, so it is suitable for landscaping with orchids as the main landscaping.

Abstract

The invention provides a substrate for terrarium landscaping, comprising the following components (by weight): 20-30 parts of diatomite, 5-10 parts of calcium hydroxide, 20-30 parts of fly ash; 10-15parts of wood fiber, and 10 to 20 parts of activated carbon. By using the above components as raw materials of the substrate for terrarium landscaping, the substrate is nontoxic and tasteless, and isgreen and environmentally friendly. The obtained substrate has natural color and good plasticity, and is suitable for growth of various plant roots. Fly ash is used as a porous substrate material, which is beneficial to plant rooting; wood fiber is beneficial to maintain the shape of the substrate, and is not easily washed away by water after spraying onto the surface of a plastic material; activated carbon can absorb harmful substances generated in plant growth, and is beneficial to form a long-term stable terrarium system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of horticultural materials, in particular to a substrate for landscaping an ecological tank and its application. Background technique [0002] The ecological tank is a closed artificial micro-ecosystem that has emerged in recent years in home gardening in a relatively isolated space, based on ecological principles, by organizing the basic components of the ecosystem. A stable ecological tank system must contain the biological components of the ecosystem and the abiotic components that provide growth media and nutrients for the biological components. [0003] Eco-tank landscaping mainly uses foaming agent to shape, and then brushes cement on the surface to create micro-landscapes such as mountains and stone scenes, and use it as a medium for plant attachment and growth. However, cement has shortcomings such as high alkalinity and inability to take root and grow, while existing conventional plant cultivation ...
