Embodiment 1

[0047] The source rock samples of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation in the Dongying Sag of the Jiyang Depression were selected, and the separation and quantification of free, mineral-composite and granular organic matter in the source rocks in the samples were carried out as follows;

[0048] In step A, the source rock sample should be fully ground to more than 80 mesh, kept dry after drying, and some samples were weighed for organic carbon test;

[0049] Step B, quantitatively weigh 2 grams of sample with a balance and place it in a Soxhlet extractor, extract with dichloromethane or chloroform as a solvent for 72 hours to obtain dichloromethane or chloroform extract and extraction residue . After natural air-drying, take part of the extraction residue and carry out the organic carbon test (Table 1);

[0050] Step C, weigh 1 gram of the extraction residue obtained from step B, add 40 grams of sodium persulfate as an oxidant, stir well, and reflect 2d in a water bath at 80°C. ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a separation and quantification method of different occurrence-mode organic matter in hydrocarbon source rock. The separation and quantification method comprises the followingsteps that hydrocarbon source rock samples are ground and dried, and parts of the samples are weighed for organic carbon testing; the hydrocarbon source rock samples are subjected to soxhlet extraction through an organic solvent, and parts of extracted residue are weighed for organic carbon testing; the extracted residue is oxidized, and parts of the oxidized residue are weighed for organic carbon testing; and the mass fraction, accounting for the total organic carbon in the rock, of organic carbon separated in each step is calculated through a difference method, and quantification of free-state organic matter, mineral complex state organic matter and particulate organic matter is completed. The separation and quantification method adopts the continuous processing process of organic solvent extraction and sodium persulfate oxidation, thus the free-state organic matter and the mineral complex state organic matter in the hydrocarbon source rock are effectively removed, the contents of the free-state organic matter, the mineral complex state organic matter and the particulate organic matter in the hydrocarbon source rock are quantitatively analyzed, the efficiency is high, the cost is low, and data are accurate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of geological exploration and development of oil and gas, in particular to a method for separating and quantifying organic matter in different occurrence states in source rocks. Background technique [0002] The organic matter in source rocks is the basis of oil and gas generation, and the study of the occurrence of organic matter is the premise of oil and gas resource exploration. Traditional petroleum geology studies regard kerogen as the only occurrence form of organic matter, but in fact there are multiple occurrence forms of organic matter in source rocks. For example, based on the binding relationship with minerals, the organic matter in source rocks can be divided into three types: free state, mineral composite state and granular state. These organic matter in different occurrence forms have gone through different geological preservation processes, and there are significant differences in hydrocarbon generatio...
