Abstract

The invention discloses a radiation safety interlock system device for on-line monitoring of an electron energy threshold in an electron linear accelerator. The device comprises a microwave acquisition system, a microwave amplitude-phase monitoring system, a quick comparison circuit and a microwave source control system. According to the device, the electron energy threshold in the electron accelerator can be monitored online in real time and fed back in real time, when the electron energy exceeds a certain threshold, the accelerator system is subjected to radiation safety interlock, so that an effect of radiation safety protection is achieved. The device has the advantages of absolute threshold control, real-time online monitoring, no influence on accelerator operation, and fast system reaction time up to 100 ns.
