Abstract

The invention discloses a tissue mimicking phantom for detecting a transmission imaging pattern of ultrasound tomography equipment. The tissue mimicking phantom is cylindrical and comprises an upper panel (2), a lower panel (6), an acoustic window (3), a plurality of targets (4) and background tissue-mimicking materials (9), wherein a sealed space is formed by the upper panel (2), the lower panel(6) and the acoustic window (3) which is adhered and fixed to the side surface of the cylinder; the background tissue-mimicking materials (9) is stuffed in the sealed space; the targets (4) penetratethrough the upper panel (2) and the lower panel (6), and are embedded in the background tissue-mimicking materials (9); an inlet for stuffing the background tissue-mimicking materials (9) is formed inthe lower panel (6); and a block rubber is adhered to the inlet. The tissue mimicking phantom disclosed by the invention can be used for detecting and evaluating the transmission imaging pattern of the ultrasound tomography equipment.
