Abstract

The invention discloses a broadband and high-gain double-unit microstrip antenna and a manufacturing method thereof, and belongs to the field of microstrip antennas. According to the broadband and high-gain double-unit microstrip antenna, a rectangular microstrip antenna with double units loaded with U-shaped grooves is arranged on the upper surface of a dielectric substrate, wherein the two antenna units are connected through a T-shaped power divider, square patches and split-ring resonators which are periodically arranged are arranged around the double-unit antenna, three surfaces of each square patch surround the double-unit U-shaped groove microstrip antenna, and the split-ring resonators are periodically arranged at the edges of two sides of the substrate; a metal grounding plate anda square patch are arranged on the lower surface of the dielectric substrate, and the square patch surrounds three surfaces of the metal grounding plate and is consistent with the square patch on theupper surface in size and is aligned with the square patch on the upper surface. A metal wire corresponding to the split-ring resonator on the upper surface is arranged on the lower surface of the substrate and forms a complementary structure with the opening of the split-ring resonator.
