Abstract

A panoramic image splicing method for a curtain wall building facade comprises the following steps: obtaining a high-definition image sequence of the curtain wall building fa ade, performing image preprocessing, determining an ROI (Region of Interest) of the image, extracting feature points of the key region of the facade by using a visual feature recognition algorithm, calculating and dividing anoverlapping region between the image sequences, removing irrelevant feature points, performing preliminary registration, estimating feature point registration model parameters to complete accurate registration of the feature points between different images and solution of a homography transformation matrix, correcting and optimizing a transformation model, determining an optimal splicing seam, and performing image splicing.
