The invention discloses a pinus massoniana seed activity detection method based on multi-modal information fusion. The method comprises the following steps: detecting starch change in pinus massonianaseeds, detecting carbon dioxide concentration change in a pinus massoniana seed environment, fusing mass, volume and humidity information of the pinus massoniana seeds to establish a sample templateof seed activity, and comparing and updating the template to finally realize graded detection of the pinus massoniana seed activity. According to the method, information of multiple modes is fused toenter pinus massoniana seed recognition, and various activity indexes of the seeds are recorded while one-time measurement is carried out; multiple times of different tests in a traditional method areavoided, one-time quickness of masson pine seed activity detection is achieved, and time spent on the tests is greatly saved.
