The invention discloses a liquid fertilizer for promoting rooting of pinus massoniana softwood cutting. The liquid fertilizer comprises the following raw materials: potassium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, magnesium sulfate, calcium chloride, boric acid, copper sulphate, nicotinic acid, folic acid, VB12, biotin, m-trihydroxybenzene, choline chloride, indolebutyric acid, ABT1 and brassinolide. A preparation method of the liquid fertilizer comprises weighing potassium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, magnesium sulfate, calcium chloride, boric acid and copper sulphate, dissolving the weighed materials in water, adding the obtained product into a reactor, and performing uniform stirring to obtain a mixed solution I; and adding nicotinic acid, folic acid, VB12, and biotin one by one into the mixed solution I, adding m-trihydroxybenzene, choline chloride, indolebutyric acid, ABT1 and brassinolide in sequence, and performing cooling after the reaction is over to obtain a mixed solution II. Root-promoting agents, such as vitamins, phenolic acid substances and plant growth regulators, match a large number of microelements, thereby increasing the rooting rate of pinus massoniana cutting. The liquid fertilizer has great economic, social and ecological benefit.
