This invention discloses a management method for improving the
carbon sequestration capacity of
Masson pine forests, belonging to the field of
Masson pine forest management technology. The method includes steps such as
land preparation and clearing, density optimization, mixed planting, formation of multi-layered forests, and post-management. Through the above method, pure
Masson pine forests are transformed and managed into multi-layered mixed forests. During this process, fermented
fertilizer prepared from pine needle
litter is applied to increase the
organic matter content of the forest soil, promote good tree growth, increase
biomass, and optimize forest stand structure. This, in turn, enhances the
carbon sequestration capacity of the
tree layer, understory
vegetation layer, and soil layer, comprehensively improving the
carbon sink capacity of Masson pine forests, which is of great significance for improving the
ecological environment.
