Abstract

The invention discloses a pre-coding-free vector millimeter wave signal generation system based on optical carrier suppression. An external cavity laser is used for generating laser to generate continuous waves; MATLAB software programming is used for generating (3, 1) vector signals in a digital domain, a pseudo-random two-level system sequence is used for mapping the (3, 1) vector signals, and the (3, 1) vector signals are sent to a waveform generator through an I path and a Q path; the generated (3, 1) signal is up-converted into an intermediate frequency signal, and the intermediate frequency signal is mixed with two sinusoidal signals with a phase difference of 90 degrees to form a signal required for driving the light intensity modulation modulator; and the generated carrier signal is filtered and converted by using an interleaver and a photoelectric detector to generate a quadruplicated frequency (3, 1) vector millimeter wave signal. Compared with the prior art, the system has the advantage that phase precoding is not needed.
