Abstract

The invention discloses application of loureirin B in preparation of a medicine for preventing and/or treating obesity. Compared with the prior art, the invention discloses a novel medical application of the loureirin B, and finds that the loureirin B has an excellent effect of preventing and/or treating obesity. Researches show that loureirin B can significantly inhibit weight gain of obesity induced by high fat. And the loureirin B is mainly used for reducing the weight of fat and hardly affects lean body mass. In addition, the basic metabolic rate and the fat utilization rate of mice can be remarkably improved. The research on the molecular level shows that the loureirin B can obviously improve the expression of the browning molecular marker of the white adipose tissue and promote the browning of the white adipose tissue.
