The invention provides a system for instantly and efficiently recovering volatile fatty acid from mixed fermentation liquor, which comprises a fermentation tank used for placing to-be-fermented articles and internally provided with a stirrer used for stirring the to-be-fermented articles; a microbial fuel cell unit, which is arranged in the fermentation tank and is used for treating the to-be-fermented articles to obtain acid-containing waste liquid; an electrodialysis unit, which is connected with the microbial fuel cell unit through an acid-containing waste liquid guide pipe and is used for carrying out electrodialysis on the acid-containing waste liquid to obtain an acid-containing concentrated solution; and a product collecting tank, which is connected with the electrodialysis unit through a concentrated solution guide pipe and is used for collecting the acid-containing concentrated solution. According to the invention, the electrodialysis system is coupled with the microbial fuel cell, and the volatile fatty acid is timely recovered and concentrated from the mixed fermentation liquid under the condition of self power supply, so that the environmental protection concept of treating waste with waste is implemented, and the maximum utilization of energy is realized.
