Abstract

The invention provides application of corn miRNA (micro ribonucleic acid), the corn miRNA is named as zma-unmiR4, the zma-unmiR4 responds to infection of fusarium verticillioides and is used for regulating and controlling the resistance of a plant to the fusarium verticillioides, and a mature transcript nucleotide sequence of the zma-unmiR4 is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The miRNA (zma-unmiR4) of the maize can respond to infection of fusarium verticillioides, and after the fusarium verticillioides is inoculated, a primary transcript of the zma-unmiR4 is down-regulated in a disease-resistant maize inbred line BT-1, and is up-regulated in a susceptible maize inbred line N6. The zma-unmiR4 is subjected to heterologous overexpression in arabidopsis thaliana, so that the resistance of a plant to fusarium verticillioides can be regulated and controlled.
