Abstract

The present disclosure provides a multilayer capacitor. The multilayer capacitor includes: a body including a multilayer structure in which a plurality of internal electrodes are stacked in a first direction with the dielectric layer interposed therebetween; and an external electrode formed outside the main body and connected to the internal electrode. The main body includes an effective portion and a side edge portion covering a first surface and a second surface of the effective portion, the first surface and the second surface being opposed to each other in a second direction, and 1lt; a2 / M1 < = 1.5 and A2lt; a is an average grain size of the dielectric layer in a central region of the effective portion, A2 is an average grain size of the dielectric layer at an effective boundary portion of the effective portion adjacent to the side edge portion, and M1 is an average grain size of the dielectric layer in a central region of the side edge portion.
