Problems solved by technology

[0005] 1. Low strength so that the wall thickness of the dental implant cannot be further reduced
[0006] 2. Mechanically unstable, where movement or fretting of particles or bone fragments will cause fibrous tissue instead of bone tissue to grow in the filled dental implant
[0007] 3. Leakage of particles or bone fragments from holes filling the through-thickness of dental implants, so that the pore size of the through-thickness is restricted, which will adversely affect the growth of bone tissue

Embodiment Construction

[0023] Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment

[0024] A dental implant constructed according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in figure 1 , 2 and 3 in. The dental implant 1 is substantially cylindrical and has an external thread 2 by means of which the implant is screwed into the bone tissue 3 beneath the soft tissue 4 . A hole having a diameter slightly smaller than the thread 2 is drilled into the bone tissue 3 into which the dental implant 1 is screwed. The dental implant 1 has a porous tube part 10 made of titanium or an alloy thereof, and a cured calcium phosphate cement filling the perforations 6 in the tube wall 11 of the porous tube part 10 and the spaces 5 inside the porous tube part 10 20. In addition, the dental implant 1 has a receiving part 30 integrally made at the top end of said porous tube part 10 opposite the open end 12 at its bottom. A hole 7 with a hexagonal bottom surface is formed in the receiving part 30,...

Abstract

A dental implant able to be installed in a predrilled hole in frontal bone for holding the reparing part of tooth has a basically cylindrical hollow base part, which has a wall to limit a space and multiple through holes on said wall, the solidified calcium phosphate as cementing agent filled in said holes and part of the space limited by wall, and a receptor integrated with one end of base part for recepting said repairing part of tooth.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to dental implants for holding prosthetic restorations, fitted in pre-drilled holes formed in the jawbone tissue, and in particular to the filling of through-thickness holes and hollow spaces of said dental implants with cured Dental implants with calcium phosphate cement. Background technique [0002] US4,521,192 discloses oral implants that allow the direct installation of a denture support structure in a jawbone part that has become too large due to a failed previous sheet implant or enlarged alveolar . The implant includes one or more posts on which to mount the denture, and a support structure of sufficient transverse dimension to enable it to be wedged in the oversized opening. The support structure is porous and bone fragments or calcium phosphate is filled in the support structure. [0003] US 5,383,935 discloses a prosthetic implant implanted in skeletal bone, comprising an implantable b...
