Staircase floor lifting device.

ActiveJP7798463B1Movable stairwaysBed-riddenKnee Joint
In the homes where elderly people are accustomed to living, the knee joints are subjected to a lot of stress when going up and down stairs, especially when going down them, which causes frequent falls and can lead to serious health problems such as fractures, hospitalization, and even becoming bedridden or experiencing the progression of dementia. [Solution] Hydraulic bags containing hydraulic oil are placed under the treads of each staircase, and the hydraulic bags are connected to each other by hoses with control valves. When the operating lever inside the handrail is gripped, the wire opens the control valve, and the hydraulic oil is pushed out by the user's weight, causing the treads to descend. The pushed-out hydraulic oil is injected into an empty hydraulic bag container on the floor below, causing the treads on the lower floor to rise and be at the same floor height. This provides an inexpensive, non-powered elevator "specialized for descending," allowing users to easily descend to the floor below without bending their knees.

Sides-down, open door pressure relief boot

Apparatus and methods for a therapeutic boot that promotes the healing of pressures sores is described. Bedridden patients are prone to developing pressure sores over bony prominences of the foot such as a heel. The therapeutic boot includes a sides-down, open door design that provides unobstructed access to a wound site. The therapeutic boot may be designed to offload the patient's heel and bony prominences on both sides of the patient's ankle. The therapeutic boot is designed such that opening and closing the boot does not apply pressure and or friction to the wound site.

Variable geometry therapeutic bed turning and centralising an immobile patient for the prevention of pressure wounds with associated method

ActiveUS12672993B2Spinal columnShape change
Device and method for turning a bedridden and immobile patient from left to right and vice-versa. It lessens the risk pressure wounds (bed wound, pressure sore). The device comprises a support surface having a variable geometry to create concave surfaces along the bed. The lowermost zone is formed to the left or to the right of the spine of the patient. Under the effect of gravity, the patient is turned towards the lowermost zone, softly. Once turned, the device also allows the centralisation of the patient towards the middle of the frame. The device may also laterally extend to give more space to a turned patient. By combining the shape change with a timer system, corporal pressure zones of the patient are cyclically displaced. It allows the turning of the patient based on current standards of care.

Fall-prevention functional limitation device

A system for one or more of avoiding and preventing bedridden people from falling. The system includes a bed and a fall-prevention functional limitation device adapted to be wrapped around the bedridden patient. The fall-prevention functional limitation device includes a long smock provided with a cape and two pairs of side bands, an upper pair placed at the lateral ends of the cape and a lower pair placed in the lower part of the smock, respectively. Both pairs of side bands include the respective bands in mirroring position with respect to the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the fall-prevention functional limitation device itself, which is also provided with a hole for the passage of the patient's head.

A weighing device

ActiveCN224471132UPhysical medicine and rehabilitationBed-ridden
The utility model relates to a kind of weighing devices, comprising: load-bearing support, including the main body capable of cover being located in sickbed and the load-bearing crossbeam located in the top of the main body;Lifting assembly, located on the main body, and the lifting assembly is used to drive the load-bearing crossbeam to ascend or descend;Hanging scale, located on the load-bearing crossbeam;Net bag, with the detachable connection of the hook of hanging scale. Even to the patient who is partially inconvenient, bedridden or critical illness, only need patient to turn in sickbed can enter net bag. After moving main body cover is located in sickbed, and using the hook of hanging scale to fix net bag, then drive lifting assembly to drive load-bearing crossbeam to ascend, and the patient in net bag is weighed. Without carrying patient, reduce the work intensity of medical staff, reduce the discomfort of patient.
