The flow control method comprises the steps of detecting the flow of the hot water using end of a terminal, controlling the target temperature of a gas water heater to be reduced to be a predetermined gas heat temperature regulation value and controlling the target temperature of the gas water heater to be lower than the predetermined gas heat temperature regulation value when the flow increase value of the hot water using end of the terminal is within a predetermined flow change interval, decreasing the opening degree of a cold water valve and increasing the opening degree of a hot water valve, controlling the target temperature of the gas water heater to be improved to be a predetermined gas heat temperature regulation value and controlling the target temperature of the gas water heater to be higher than the predetermined gas heat temperature regulation value when the flow decrease value of the hot water using end of the terminal is within the predetermined flow change interval, increasing the opening degree of the cold water valve and decreasing the opening degree of the hot water valve. By means of the flow control method of the gas and electricity complimentary water heating system, constant-flow output can be achieved. The flow control method has the advantages of being high in accuracy, low in cost and the like.
