The air-permeable blood-impermeable flexible sleeve acts as a venting member. The venting member permits the passage of air through it, and is substantially impermeable to liquids, such as blood. The flexible sleeve may be comprised of two types of material, a first material which is air-impermeable and a second material which is air-permeable blood-impermeable.
