The invention relates to a method for extracting raffinose from cottonseed meal, including following steps: removing the cottonseed rind to get cottonseed kernel, softing the embryo of the cottonseed kernel, dipping the cottonseed oil with solvent-extracted oil, getting cotton dregs; adding 40-100wt.% of carbinol in the cotton dregs, dipping for 20-60 minutes at 0-70 DEG C, after removing the carbinol, getting coarse raffinose; dissolving the coarse raffinose by water or rare acid, controlling temperature at 0-100 DEG C, pH=2-7, filtering, decoloring, concentrating, crystallize, drying, getting extractive raffinose. The invention re-exacts the raffinose after degreasing, ensures to attain the raffinose as well as perfect conttonseed oil, and reduces the dissociative gossypol content in the cotton dregs and improves the cotton dreg quality.
