Problems solved by technology

The second is inter-subcarrier interference (ICI), which is similar to Gaussian white noise and will cause spurs in the received constellation points due to the symbol error rate (SER) loss introduced by ICI
[0014] The removal of CPE is relatively simple and mature, but the removal of ICI is more difficult
Some methods proposed such as LS (least squares) and MMSE (minimum mean square error) are very complex in algorithm, and the operability realized in the circuit is not great.

Embodiment Construction

[0034] Because the energy of φ(K) is mainly concentrated in several adjacent sub-carrier frequency bands. We consider the ideal case. It is considered that φ(K) has values only when k=1, 2, 3, 3779, and 3780, and is 0 when k=6 to 3778. Because we know a set of TPS values. φ(K) can be calculated mathematically.

[0035] Because we need to know the value of the TPS after the channel, the estimation of the phase noise is performed after the channel estimation and before the equalization, so H(K) is known. Additive noise is not considered here.

[0036] When the invention extracts the phase noise, the output of a selected group of TPS is directly processed according to the convolution characteristic to solve the equation group.

[0037] From Y(K)≈H(K).X(K)+j.[φ(K)*(H(K).X(k))] / 3780 (7)

[0038] Let V(K)=H(K) x(K), choose a set of TPS(10-18) arbitrarily, then we have

[0039] Y(12)=V(12)+j·[φ(1)V(12)+φ(2)v(11)+φ(3)V(10)+φ(3779)V(14)+φ (3780)V(13)] / 3780

[0040] Y(13)=V(13...

Abstract

Using a set of consecutive transmission parameter signaling (TPS), the method eliminates phase noise in national standard system about digital TV ground transmission. The method includes steps: estimating phase noise for received TPS sub carrier; solving a set of equation and inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT) to obtain estimation of phase noise in time domain; using the estimation of phase noise in time domain to carry out phase compensation for corresponding data not done discrete Fourier transform (DFT); through DFT, the compensated signals are converted to frequency domain, and using equilibrium process to obtain needed result. Theoretical analysis and simulation result shows that the method based on TPS to estimate phase noise can raise performance of symbol error rate (SER) markedly under additivity white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and under multipath channels.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of digital television terrestrial transmission, and in particular relates to a method for eliminating phase noise, which can be directly applied to the phase noise elimination of the national digital television terrestrial transmission (DTMB) system. Background technique [0002] Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a high-speed transmission technology in a wireless environment. It is widely used in high-definition digital TV broadcasting, wireless local area network and other fields. OFDM can effectively suppress intersymbol interference (ISI), but it is sensitive to phase noise. China's national digital TV standard uses the solution of multi-carrier and single-carrier fusion, and there is also the problem that multi-carrier transmission is easily interfered by phase noise. [0003] The radio frequency signal received by the OFDM system is first down-converted to an intermediate frequency ...
