Example Embodiment

[0017] In order to facilitate the description of the fast scanning mode of the sequential scanning in the present invention, the present invention will be described below by comparing the full scanning mode and the partial scanning mode of the serial scanning in the prior art.

[0018] figure 1 It is a schematic diagram of a complete scanning mode of sequential scanning in the prior art. figure 1 The complete scanning method of the sequence scan is divided into three stages, which are the scan preparation stage t0, the sequence scan stage t1, and the examination bed movement stage t2.

[0019] In the scanning preparation stage t0, the operator first needs to position the patient on the CT examination bed and perform a positioning scan. The purpose of the positioning scan is to determine the patient's anatomical landmarks to determine the precise location and range of the CT sequence scan or helical scan. In scout scan mode, both the X-ray tube and the patient remain stationa...

Abstract

The invention discloses a scanning method for computerized tomography (CT) which comprises a data acquisition period and a non-data acquisition period. In the data acquisition period, an X-ray tube circles round a patient and obtains the data of the patient; in the non-data acquisition period, an examination couch is moved from a scanning position to the next scanning position; wherein, in the data acquisition period, the angle of rotation of the X-ray tube is less than 360 degrees when obtaining the data of the patient, and in the non-data acquisition period, the examination couch moves immediately from the scanning position after the X-ray tube is shut. Compared with the complete scan mode and the partial scan mode in prior art, the scanning method of the invention shortens the examination time when a patient lies in an examination couch, thus improving the diagnostic efficiency in hospitals.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a scanning method, in particular to a computerized tomography (Computed Tomography; "CT" for short) scanning method. Background technique [0002] Computed tomography CT scan is divided into sequence scan (Sequence Scan) and spiral scan (Spiral Scan). Sequential scanning, also called single scanning, is a scanning method based on a step-and-shoot mode. Sequence scan mode includes data acquisition period and non-data acquisition period. During the data acquisition period, the patient is stationary while the x-ray tube and detector rotate around the patient at a certain speed; after a complete data set acquisition of the slice, the non-data acquisition period begins. The X-ray tube is turned off and the patient moves to the next scanning position. [0003] For typical CT equipment, the minimum non-data acquisition period is on the order of a few seconds due to mechanical system and patient constraints. The limitation ...
