Problems solved by technology

The disadvantage is that the size of the three-dimensional array is directly related to the range of the image space, the size and spacing of the components themselves determine the fineness of the displayed image, the electrical connection is complicated, and the volume pixel density is difficult to meet the application requirements
[0006] The true three-dimensional display device based on the linear motion of the flat screen is difficult to manufacture a high-frequency mechanical drive system that reaches a large practical scale. The operating mechanism of the system limits the movement range of the target screen, resulting in the true three-dimensional The display plan cannot be promoted
[0007] The three-dimensional display device based on the rotation of the two-dimensional LED screen has the following disadvantages: 1) the image generation device is on the rotating screen, which brings difficulties to data transmission; 2) the size of the LED light-emitting die is relatively large, and the resolution of the screen display The rate cannot be very high, which is suitable for large-scale display; 3) The image has few gray scales and the colors are not rich; 4) The moment of inertia is large
[0008] The true three-dimensional display device based on the rotating flat screen and the high frame rate DLP projector has the best display effect among the current true three-dimensional display devices, but it also has the following disadvantages: The level of software and hardware facilities can only achieve a volume resolution of Φ768×198, a volume refresh rate of 30Hz, and 8 colors. The image color is not rich when displayed on a full screen; 2) The image needs to be rotated and corrected, and the amount of calculation is huge ; 3) Part of the projection optical system rotates with the screen, and the mechanical noise is large; 4) Due to the limitation of the DMD frame frequency, there is not much room for improving the angular resolution
[0009] The true three-dimensional display system based on the spiral screen and the high frame rate DLP projector has the first) and the fourth) of the true three-dimensional display device based on the rotating flat screen and the high frame rate DLP projector due to the use of a single high frame rate DLP projector In addition to this problem, it also has three disadvantages caused by the use of a spiral screen: 1) the three-dimensional image has a hollow phenomenon; 2) the slicing algorithm of the three-dimensional image is complicated;
[0011] The above-mentioned true three-dimensional display systems are all based on motion screens. In order to reduce air resistance and protect personal safety, the true three-dimensional display generally needs to add a transparent cover, so that the observer cannot observe and touch the true three-dimensional stereoscopic image at close range, and it is impossible to observe close interaction between viewer and image
The rotating screen is generally a diffuse scattering screen, and each volume pixel can emit light to a spherical space, but at the same time, the screen also reflects all the light shining on the screen to the observer's eyes, thereby reducing the contrast of the image

Embodiment Construction

[0023] The application of the method of the present invention in product display will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0024] Using the product display platform constructed by the method of the present invention in combination with the lighting device described in the present invention, products such as mobile phones and automobiles can be intuitively displayed, and three-dimensional production software, such as CAD software such as 3DMAX, is used to carry out three-dimensional modeling of the products, and the obtained products can be obtained in three dimensions. The three-dimensional model is decomposed into a series of multi-angle two-dimensional images in the cylindrical coordinate system; such as figure 1 As shown in Fig. 1, multiple projectors are used to simultaneously project two-dimensional images of corresponding angles on the screen at multiple angles, thereby reconstructing a three-dimensional image similar to a real objec...

Abstract

The invention provides a real three-dimensional display method based on the fact that a three-dimensional image of a rotational screen of a multi-projector is touchable. The method comprises the following steps that: firstly, three-dimensional space of the three-dimensional image displayed is described by utilization of a circular cylindrical coordinate, and a series of section images in different angles along the diameter direction are analyzed; secondly, a plurality of projectors which are arranged along the circumference and rotated along with a screen project in turn, and the section images are projected to the screen to form a stereo image; thirdly, the stereo image is secondarily imaged on a given position of the space through reflectors which are arranged on the circumference of the screen so as to realize the touchable function. By utilization of the method, the stereo image can be directly touched by hands and simultaneously the contrast of the stereo image is effectively improved. The invention also provides a diametrical alternate illumination optical system of the projector used in the method, and diametrical alternate illumination can be realized by utilization of a light source.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a true three-dimensional display technology, in particular to a touchable true three-dimensional display method and system based on a rotating screen, belonging to the technical field of three-dimensional image display. Background technique [0002] Three-dimensional display can provide an intuitive and natural communication mode, and help people obtain a real, rich and reliable perception experience after comprehensively using various depth hints. It is an inevitable development trend of display technology. Stereoscopic 3D display with the help of glasses or oblique gratings can only provide limited stereoscopic pairs, and the display effect is limited. When the human eye observes, the convergence and adjustment cannot match, and long-term viewing is harmful to the eyes. Holographic dynamic display requires massive data transmission and storage, and the current technical level is not enough to realize it. Volumetric 3D displa...
