Abstract

The composite ceramic carrier is formed by mixing alpha-Al2O3, SiC, a mineralizing agent and Li2O, adding a methylcellulose aqueous solution, mixing, ball-milling, staling, granulating, moulding by isostatic press and finally sintering. The product has good fracture toughness, thinner microstructure, lower surface roughness, higher thermal stability, corrosion resistance and electrical performance after polishing, more favorable repeatability between batches, stable product quality and lower cost.
