The device comprises a sampling pool main body, a motion guide rail, a fixed mass block, a bearing, an overflow pipe, a correcting baffle, a correcting sheet, a test through hole, a sample storage groove, a thin soft rope, a float bowl, a sample inlet pipe, a sample outlet pipe, an inlet valve and an outlet valve. By using the device and method provided by the invention, the online sampling and test of liquid samples are realized, the test efficiency is increased, and the labor intensity of worker is relieved. By adjusting the position of the correcting baffle through gravity and buoyancy, the use of electronic elements is avoided. The device has high safety performance and can be used for testing inflammable and explosive petroleum products. Since the height of the overflow pipe is adjustable, the height of liquid level is adjustable, and further, the distance between an X-ray probe and a sample is adjustable; therefore, the device has certain flexibility in test.
