The invention also discloses a high-voltage-resistant PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermistor prepared by using the thermal sensitive ceramic material and a preparation method of the PTC thermistor. The method comprises the following steps: mixing the components according to the designed ratio, ball milling by a wet method, pre-sintering, ball milling by a secondary wet method, pelleting and tabletting, sintering and post processing, thereby preparing the PTC thermistor.
