Abstract

The invention is applicable to a glass/ceramic deep processing manufacturing technology and provides a glass/ceramic precision molding method and molding equipment. The molding method comprises the following steps of: forming temperature difference in the whole area of local area of two surfaces of glass/ceramic to be molded so as to generate or extend cracks on the surface of or inside the glass, and controlling the growth of the cracks by the utilization of the direction of the temperature difference so as to realize the molding of the glass/ceramic. By the formation of temperature difference on the two surfaces of the glass/ceramic to be molded and according to different thermal expansion coefficients, cracks generated on the glass/ceramic grow along the direction of the temperature difference or existed cracks are extended along the direction of the temperature difference, thus realizing glass/ceramic precision molding. Relative to traditional technologies such as punching molding and the like, the method provided by the invention can be used to improve the glass/ceramic molding efficiency and quality to some extent.
