Abstract

Compound type sterilizing algaecide is composed of isothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde, benzimidazole salt and polyether by mass ratio of 1:(1.0-2.0):(1.0-1.5):(1.0-2.0). The isothiazolinone is formed by mixing 5-chlorine-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-ketone and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-ketone with the mass ratio of 3:1, wherein the benzimidazole salt is 1- ethyl methyl ether -2-methyl-3-R-based benzimidazole quaternary ammonium salt. The compound type sterilizing algaecide is applied in industrial recycling cooling water.
