The composition comprises the cyantraniliprole and the nereistoxin-type pesticide in the weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:50, wherein the sum of the weight of the cyantraniliprole and the nereistoxin-type pesticide accounts for 0.1-80% of the weight of the composition. The composition of the cyantraniliprole and the nereistoxin-type pesticide can be prepared into granules, emulsion in water, microemulsion, a suspending agent, wettable powder or water dispersible granules according to the requirements of practical application and is used for preventing and controlling agricultural pests. Compared with a single agent, the composition of the cyantraniliprole and the nereistoxin-type pesticide has the advantages that the prevention and control effect is obviously improved, the using dosage of a pesticide is reduced, the pest resistance to insecticide is delayed or eliminated, and the comprehensive treatment on insects is favored.
