Abstract

The invention discloses a micro thermoelectric module and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method includes the following steps: obtaining a thermoelectric pile with a sandwich structure, wherein the thermoelectric pile includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, and a layer sandwiched between the two. An array of P and N-type thermoelectric sheets alternately arranged in between; and a plurality of thermoelectric units in which grooves are processed on the thermoelectric pile to form an array. Compared with the prior art, the present invention combines thermopile fabrication and connection electrode processing into one, and only requires a precision cutting machine to complete the process, eliminating the electrode micro-machining steps usually required by the prior art. In this way, all work can be reduced. It requires equipment, reduces process costs, has low requirements on personnel's operating proficiency, and is easy to produce in large quantities.
